Grace and Power

     This eagle was fishing on a lake in Madison County. For several minutes I enjoyed seeing him sitting on a log and occasionally taking a drink from the lake.  Unfortunately for me a limb on the log was hiding part of this magnificent bird, but I knew he would fly so I kept my camera pointed toward him and remained prepared for his flight.  I was able to make several images of him as he swooped low across the water, but this one was the “keeper” with the graceful arc of its wings and the powerful expression on his face.
