Beginning Digital Photography Course
Still using your expensive camera like a Point-and-shoot? We can fix that! In this course you will learn:
Manual Exposure (Get accurate exposure. Stop action. Blur the background and more)
Custom Color Balance (Get the correct color in your camera regardless of the light situation.)
How to see light (Add “feeling” to your images.)
How to choose the right lens (Effects of wide angle, normal, and telephoto lenses)
Basic Composition (Create impact in your photograph).
Course has six sessions taught on successive Saturday mornings from11AM to 1PM IN PERSON in Studio 120, Lowe Mill Arts and Entertainment, 2211 Seminole Dr SW, Huntsville, Alabama 35805.
There are lots of practical exercises and homework too.
Course is limited to 6 students. Cost is $195. Payment is due at registration.
Courses are offered three times per year: Jan-Feb, Jun-July, and Aug-Sep.
The dates for 2027 courses are:
January-February: Jan 9, 16, 23, 30, Feb 6, 13
June-July: June 12, 19, 26 (Break for July 4), July 10, 17, 24
August-September: Aug 14, 21, 28, (Break for Labor Day), Sept 11,18, 25
