 Our studio, located on the edge of Huntsville, Alabama, at 1385 Winchester Road, has a spacious portrait park with outdoor scenes to suit any style from classic elegance to country casual. We also have indoor studio facilities.
Our dream of a fine portrait studio became a reality in 1996, when Jim retired from the Army after a 29-year career to pursue his passion for photography. Both of us hail from Macon, Georgia, so Huntsville was a natural fit, and we are happy to call this lively, growing community "home."
To prepare for the "second half" of his life, Jim attended the Washington School of Photography. In addition, he has studied with some of the most noted photographers in America. Frieda and Jim regularly attend classes and seminars to further our knowledge and skills. We are active members of the local, state and national elements of the Professional Photographers of America.
 Jim and Frieda work together in every aspect of the business, combining their talents to make the portrait experience enjoyable and the results thrilling for our clients. In addition, our daughter, Tracie, has become an invaluable member of the team willing to lend her considerable skills and energy to anything that needs doing.
